Polier is priced per project, not per seat. You pay a flat monthly fee for each active project — every team member you invite is included at no extra cost. This means a site with 20 workers costs the same as one with 3.

Projects can be paused or archived when they complete, and billing stops automatically. There's no penalty for starting a new project mid-month — you're billed pro-rata from the day you activate it.

Yes. Your first project is free for 14 days, no credit card required. You get access to everything — plans, issues, daily log, reports, procurement, and the AI assistant. No feature restrictions.

If you don't add payment details, the project automatically switches to read-only at the end of the trial. Your data is never deleted.

Yes. Cancel any time from Organisation Settings → Billing. Your project stays active until the end of the billing period, then switches to read-only. You can export all your data before or after cancelling.

There are no cancellation fees and no contracts unless you've arranged an annual plan with our team.

Yes — volume pricing applies automatically as you add more active projects. Contact us at hello@polier.io if you're running 10 or more simultaneous projects and we'll put together a tailored arrangement.

All data is stored in Google Cloud infrastructure in the EU (primarily Belgium, with failover to the Netherlands). We do not store any data in the US.

Files (plans, photos, documents) are stored in Google Cloud Storage with server-side encryption at rest. Connections to Polier use TLS 1.3 in transit.

Yes. Polier is built on EU infrastructure and processes personal data in accordance with GDPR. You are the data controller for your project data. We act as the data processor.

We can provide a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) on request. Email hello@polier.io.

Yes. From Project Settings → Export, you can download a full export of your project: all issues (with photos and attachments), all daily logs, all procurement records, and the original plan files. Export is available as a ZIP archive at any time, including after cancelling.

Reports can be exported individually as PDF at any time from the Reports section.

Only members you explicitly invite to a project can access it. Organisation admins can see all projects within their organisation. Polier staff do not access customer project data except when specifically requested for support purposes, and only with your permission.

Polier is a web app — it requires an internet connection to function. Most construction sites have adequate mobile data coverage, but in basements, tunnels, or remote areas you may hit dead zones.

We're actively working on offline-first capabilities for the mobile app. If this is critical for your use case, contact us — we can give you an accurate timeline.

The current Polier app is a progressive web app (PWA) — it runs in your mobile browser and can be added to your home screen for an app-like experience. It's optimised for mobile and works well for on-site use.

Native iOS and Android apps are in development. Sign up for early access updates at hello@polier.io.

Polier accepts PDF files for plans. PDF is the standard interchange format for construction drawings — every CAD package (AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, SketchUp) and every print driver can export to PDF.

There's no file size limit, but very large files (500MB+) will take longer to process. Multi-page PDFs are supported — each page becomes a separate sheet.

Polier integrates with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) for plan management and Adobe for document workflows. An API is available for custom integrations — contact us for API access.

We're also building direct integrations with Xero and QuickBooks for procurement cost sync. If you need a specific integration, let us know — we prioritise based on customer demand.

The AI assistant knows your project — issues, daily logs, procurement, plans — and can answer questions about it in plain language. Ask things like "What were the top issues last week?" or "Which subcontractors have overdue tasks?"

It also generates daily summaries, flags procurement exceptions, and can draft report sections. The AI uses your project data only — it does not train on it or share it with other customers.
